Progressive organizations:

Kathleen will protect a woman's right to choose and will fight tirelessly to improve and enhance access and affordability of reproductive care in Oregon.  She believes in your ability to make your own choices about your body.  Kathleen is also a new co-Chair of the Oregon Women's Health and Wellness Alliance to advance legislation that supports women in Oregon.  That's why Kathleen has been endorsed by champions for choice, NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon.

From construction workers, steam fitters, fire fighters, nurses, retail and restaurant workers, electricians, law enforcement and beyond, Oregon's labor force has overwhelming supported Kathleen, and that's because she supports them.  Kathleen knows that Oregon runs on our work force, and our working individuals and families deserve family wage jobs and common sense protections.  Kathleen will defend union rights like collective bargaining, and state contracting laws.  AFL-CIO, Oregon Nurses Association, SEIU Local 503 and 49, Oregon AFSCME Council 75, and more trust Kathleen as both a current State Representative and future State Senator.

Kathleen believes that climate change is the issue of our time, and we must take bold steps to address this problem.  She is a member of the Environmental Caucus and has a perfect voting record on the OLCV Environmental Score Card.  Kathleen has worked diligently with advocates and colleagues to find solutions to our Air Quality crisis.  Kathleen is a progressive environmental champion, that's why she's endorsed by the Oregon League of Conservation Voters.

Kathleen Taylor earned the Basic Rights Oregon Equality PAC endorsement because she is the pro-equality candidate for Senate District 21.  Kathleen will work to ensure the voices of LGBTQ Oregonians are heard and are represented in state policy.  While Equal Marriage is a big victory, Kathleen knows there is more work to be done.  She will defend the progress that has been made, and will continue to fight for a lived-equality for all Oregonians regardless of their sexual orientation or gender expression.

Improving experiences and outcomes for students to ensure that all students have an equal chance of success is one of Kathleen's priorities.  Kathleen also knows we must support our teachers and school professionals.  Kathleen will work to ensure increased investments in education from pre-Kindergarten, to K-12, and higher education.  Kathleen is endorsed by the Oregon Education AssociationPortland Association of Teachers, and the Oregon School Employees Association.
